In 2006 he was nominated for the MUJI Design Award and started the still ongoing collaboration with the LIM HAIR Group that until now has led to the completion of seven beauty salons in Osaka, Tokyo and Singapore. 2007 he was part of the WAJIMA x Kakitsubata Project, that was aimed to support local artisans and included the design of a series of products and an exhibition at Tent London. In 2009 his sofa 'GROW' was launched by OFFECCT at Stockholm furniture fair and Milan Design Week. Other collaborations with international brands such as MATER, Denmark are in progress. The name “ISOLATION UNIT /” emerged from the fundamental principle of personal relativity, of how people and things bear relations and dependencies, building instantaneous 'units', while remaining isolated entities. In this sense, the determining element of design are the rapports of the object to its environment and the circumstances surrounding it.
